Cafe Racer Cebu is one place here in the city where it couldn’t get any more vintage. Its interiors just reek of the ones that you usually see in movies – lovely, isolated, and shabby Mexican pubs that usually gets depicted as stopovers. This place has that kind of ambiance that reminds me of some point in time where I’d desired to be a cowgirl. But I think this place has more to offer aside from that.
Cafe Racer Cebu: Ambiance + Unique Car Displays
It was my first time to set foot on Cafe Racer Cebu, though I’d been wanting to for ages. This place is a sweet combination for car enthusiasts (like my boyfriend) and foodies (like me!).
At first glance, you could easily commend their vintage interiors. Even the vibe of the place itself takes you to around 1950’s in good ol’ Mexico. That, altogether with a fusion of car accessories and parts as their seats and tables, a Volkswagen Van makeshift counter, and a Volkswagen Beetle made into a grill at their al freso area (which I unfortunately forgot to take a picture of).
Cafe Racer Cebu: Food & Drinks
My boyfriend and I were only in for a short visit during that time, so we didn’t order that much. However, it was pleasant to know that their food and drinks were totally affordable, with a price starting at P15 for a barbecue stick. I bet it would be so on point with the mood if we had beer and roasted beef instead. *wink*
I think the foods here at Cafe Racer Cebu are worth exploring – and I must definitely come back to try them. While we did visit there, it was only for a short while and we weren’t able to tour much of the place because it was a bit crowded that day. Nevertheless, I would recommend Café Racer for all gear heads and foodies who enjoy dining in themed restaurants like this. 😉
